Frequently Asked Questions

How will my order be delivered?

Each box is packaged by hand, labelled and sent to the recipient via a courier. Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Deliveries are trackable and you'll be given a 1-hour time slot on the day of delivery.

In certain circumstances beyond our control, we cannot guarantee next day delivery, however, this is very rare.

When will my order be delivered?

Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday are eligible for next day delivery. Standard next day deliveries arrive between 8am and 8pm the next day.

Orders placed on the weekend or on a bank holiday will be delivered within 2 working days.

How do I place an order (Wedding/Occasion Cakes)?

You can call 0161 330 7205 or email candy@candyscupcakes.co.uk and we will contact you within 24 hours to discuss further.

When can I collect my order?

We ask customers to collect between 2pm and 4pm on the agreed date of collection. Please call 0161 330 7205 when you arrive and we will come out to you.

Do you delivery nationally?

Yes, we offer next delivery to UK mainland when you order cupcakes from our online shop. Orders placed before 3pm are eligible for next day delivery Tuesday to Saturday.

Alternatively you can choose your delivery day and pre-order up to 365 days in advance.

Can I send my cupcakes as a surprise gift?

Yes of course. Provide the address/contact details and instructions for the driver of a safe place to leave the parcel in case the recipient isn't home. For example, leave with a neighbour.

Please note we cannot be liable for parcels left elsewhere or returned to the depot. Re-delivery is an option in the rare event that the driver is unable to leave the parcel in the suggested place.

Will any order information or receipt be included in the parcel?

No, our orders are discrete as we know the majority of our products are sent as a gift.

How will my order be presented?

Each box is carefully hand packaged with tissue paper and a gift tag message placed on the top of the cake box. The cake box is placed into another box for extra security.

How long will the cupcakes stay fresh?

All our products do not need to be refrigerated and are happy in the box they arrive in, away from direct heat sources. They will keep fresh for up to 1 week. 

However, if the weather is unusually warm, we recommend placing your cupcakes in the fridge.

Do you require a deposit (Wedding/Occasion Cakes)?

We take an agreed non-refundable deposit to secure the date. The remaining balance is paid upon collection. If the order is being delivered the remaining balance is required 7 days before. If it's a wedding order, the remaining balance is due 30 days before delivery.

How do I pay (Wedding/Occasion Cakes)?

We accept bank transfer, cash, Paypal or we can create a payment link. When ordering simply advise me of your preference and we will send you all the necessary details.

Do you cater for people with allergies and intolerances?

We offer a gluten free option, however we cannot guarantee that my products do not contain nuts as we work in a bakery where nuts are stored.
